Despite the charming setting, room amenities felt a bit outdated, which can impact comfort. Be prepared for potential noise disruptions during special events like weddings, as they can echo through the courtyard and disturb your peace. the restaurant's service can be slow during peak times, and there are concerns about the hard mattress comfort, making it a challenge for a good night's sleep.

Historic castle setting with lovely pool and fantastic views. the restaurant experience was disappointing with poor service.

I truly appreciated the breathtaking setting of the Parador in Jarandilla de la Vera, where the historical charm adds to its unique atmosphere. The extensive breakfast buffet featured local pastries, making each morning a delightful start to the day. The immaculate gardens and cozy courtyard offered a perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine, soaking in the beauty around me. the lack of a lift in many rooms made lugging heavy suitcases a bit of a challenge, especially when I arrived. The swimming pool area, while visually appealing, had some maintenance issues, particularly with the long grass and unstable pool step rails. A clearer communication about which rooms are accessible via lift would enhance the overall experience. Despite these hiccups, the historic setting and calm ambiance made for a memorable stay.

Stunning courtyard vibes!
The courtyard is def the highlight. Great spot for drinks and soaking up vibes! The staff was super friendly. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool, but the dinner options felt kinda limited. Just a heads up, it gets a bit noisy when events are happening. Still, the castle atmosphere makes it all worth it!
